Florida Virtual School is Seeking On-Site Teachers for the Florida Scholars Academy!

Florida Virtual School (FLVS) is the operating education service provider for the Florida Scholars Academy.

We are currently recruiting for On-Site Instructors for the Florida Scholars Academy. The Florida Scholars Academy Instructional team members work out of a local DJJ facility for in-person Instruction. To be considered, candidates must meet the minimum requirements of the position.

Minimum Requirements: Education/Licensure/Certification: • Bachelor’s Degree • Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in content area assigned OR proof of active enrollment in a state-approved EPI or MAT program AND either a valid Florida state-issued Statement of Eligibility OR valid Temporary Certificate in content area assigned

Experience: • One year of successful teaching experience within the subject area OR successful completion of an FLVS instructional internship program
